■ドン・チェリー、レッド・ミッチェル、パーシー・ヒース、ビリー・ヒギンズ、シェリー・マンなどジャズ界のレジェンドたちとのコラボレーションを収録。
■ 両作品とも伝説のエンジニア、ロイ・デュナンがレコーディングを担当。
■ RTIでプレスされた180gレコードは、伝説のエンジニア、バーニー・グランドマン（グランドマンはコンテンポラリーでキャリアをスタートさせ、デュナンは彼のメンターだった）がオリジナルのアナログテープから直接ラッカー盤にマスタリングしたもの。
