ナット・アダレイの代表作。自身作曲の「ワーク・ソング」が有名であるが、ティモンズ作「プリティ・メモリー」もかなりファンキーな名曲。ベース、チェロの力強いユニゾンが魅力的で、そのフレーズの繰り返しが、強烈なグルーヴを生んでいる。ウェス・モンゴメリーも参加。

表題曲のｲﾒｰｼﾞとｼﾞｬｹ写が必要以上に購入欲を削ぎます（笑）が、素朴で粒ぞろいな小品が素晴らしい出来で買って損はありません。寧ろ“I've got a crush on you”を聴いていない方は、損をしているかもしれませんね（笑）。
