Product Description

After writing mostly instrumental Jazz based on South American rhtyhms, Nando started exploring songwriting using poetry. After a succesful CD using poems by Mario Benedetti, he took the task of setting music to Juana de Ibarbourou's poems and biography, creating a suite that describes her controversial life. The Four Corners String Quartet bring a beautiful sound infused by some of their members' Middle Eastern origins, and Katie Viqueira interprets these songs and impersonates Juana brilliantly.
