Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of solo albums from the former Jefferson Airplane/Starship vocalist originally released on RCA in 1981 and 1984. WELCOME TO THE WRECKING BALL! was a US Top 50 album. SOFTWARE includes musicians such as Paul Kantner and Peter Wolf. Slick left Starship in the late '80s and, despite a severe illness, established herself as a successful and critically acclaimed artist.

ずっとCD化されて来なかった、グレースの80年代のソロ・アルバム２枚が2in1で登場。重厚なサウンドで相棒のスコット・ジトーと共に元祖・ロック姐御の貫禄を見せ付けつつ、レゲエへのアプローチも見せる”Welcome To The Wrecking Ball!(戦慄)”、ロン・ネヴィソン及びピーター＆イーナ・ウルフ夫妻と組んで、ハードロック色を抜いたスターシップという感じのエレポップを聴かせる”Software”と、歌手・グレースの多彩さを堪能できる。その一方で、往年の”ホワイト・ラビット”を彷彿とさせる”Bikini Atoll(ビキニ環礁)”のような曲も。
