彼ほどのキャリアを持つアーティストのベストアルバムを一枚で表現するにはかなりキツいことだが、リアルタイムで聴いたことがない私でも、この『Let It Roll』の構成は素晴らしい。オープニングはやはり①だろうし時折ライブ音源を挟める辺りが巧い。単なるシングルヒットのみではない、まさに厳選されたBest Of Bestである。

１枚物のベスト・アルバムという制約はありますが、よくできてます。 あの曲が入ってないと言えば、きりがない。全体的に音のレベルを合わせてリマスターしており、スタジオ収録とライブ収録との曲のつながりに違和感は全くない。ビートルズ・ファンなら、9月9日発売のデジタル・リマスター盤に期待を持たせてくれるアルバムと位置付けられます・・・。
