ピアノレスのコンボであるがそれが余計にアーシーな雰囲気を醸し出している。ドルフィーのバスクラリネットが最高の魅力だが、ロンカーターのチェロ、ロイヘインズのドラムスも光る。OUTWARDBOUNDと並んでスタジオレコーディングの最高傑作といえるのではないだろうか。
