2010 release from the Hip Hop superstar, the long-awaited follow-up to his Relapse album. Features production from Just Blaze, Jim Jonsin and Mobb Deep's Havoc plus guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Pink and Rihanna. I had originally planned for Relapse 2 to come out last year, remarked Eminem. But as I kept recording and working with new producers, the idea of a sequel to Relapse started to make less and less sense to me, and I wanted to make a completely new album. The music on Recovery came out very different from Relapse, and I think it deserves it's own title.

クリーンなEMINEMの初めてのアルバム、正直すぎるリリックは本当に引き込まれるような内容です。思わず鳥肌が立つような曲もいくつかありました。proofの事、ドラッグに溺れた事、何が正しいか分からなくなっていた事、自分を批判した人に返すアンサーなど様々な曲、そのほかにもＤＶのする側の気持ちとされる側の気持を書いた曲や、何があったって前に進んで行こうとゆう曲などとてもストレートなメッセージが書いてある曲がとても多い気がします。今までのEMINEMとは全く正反対なEMINEM、まさにShardyでは無くMarshallのアルバムと言ってもいいのではないでしょうか？今までのEMINEMが好きな人には多分評価されにくいかもしれないですが僕は今までのアルバムの中で結構上の方の出来のアルバムだと思います。EMINEMに興味がなかった人も、興味はあったけどどのアルバムを聞いていいか分からないと思ってた方も一度聞いてみてください。聞き終わった後には胸打たれてると思いますから・・・。悪魔でも僕の意見ですので最後にはご自身の判断で！（汗）

今回のエムのアルバムははっきり言って２０１０年上半期の傑作の一つ。 内容はこれまでの作品とはかけ離れているくらい前向きな曲が多く音自体もPOPなしあがりで昔ながらのエミネム節はほとんど無し。。それでもここまで一枚通して流れるように聞けたアルバムを創るエムはさすが。。 ５週連続全米１位と本国では第二次エミネム黄金期到来の勢い。日本では流行り廃りのサイクルが早く、エミネムという名前を聞いただけで古いと言う人ばかりですがそれで済ませてしまうにはもったいないアルバムです。
