Diana Tarin sums up herself the richness of the musical culture of her native Cuba.
Afro Cuban singer and pianist; daughter and granddaughter of renowned Cuban musicians.
With only 17 years old she was already member of different women bands - as vocalist, pianist and percussionist- who traveled through different countries, mainly in Europe.
Arriving in Spain, as a member of a traditional music group, she stayed among us and graduated as a pianist in Vigo (Galicia). Meanwhile she has collaborated in different musical recordings, several of them internationally. Currently, she teaches music in the Rock School Music CDM de Ponteareas (Galicia).
Her musicians call her creative and tireless. She can be found along with her band in charity activities, Auditoriums, Jazz Festivals, Concert Halls, important social activities and recognized night and leisure centers. Versatile artist, her musical universe is vast and works well with the familiarity of the Cuban tradition, jazz, bossa-nova, funky, soul, bolero and song.
