極めてオーソドックスな英雄。中庸のテンポで、安定した演奏。第一楽章のリピートはなし。録音は左右の分離が良過ぎる嫌いがないでもないが、クリアで音の混濁などはない。余白の、バーンスタインによるレオノーレ3番は、彼らしい勢いのある、情熱的演奏で、カルロス・クライバーを髣髴とさせる。良いと思う。
