1930年代半ばに収録された代表的なヴァイオリン協奏曲の今更申し上げる必要のない名盤です。この様な演奏を聴いているとつくづく昨今の洪水のように続出する新盤の存在価値がいつまで延命するのか甚だ心細くなります。さて、本盤勿論スタイルは古くマァ大層なポルタメント、ヴィブラート等古き良き時代の味わいを堪能することが出来ます。ベートーベンの方のカデンッアも出色。音も意外とクリヤーです・・・余り度を過ぎると人工的な加工が気になりコンピュータ・ミュージックになってしまうので、要注意です(本盤は心配無用で素晴らしい盤です)。
