高関さんのオーケストラトレーナーとしての...

高関さんのオーケストラトレーナーとしての力量が示された一枚。オケは室内楽的規模のオーケストラだがベートーヴェンでは過不足なく弦を中心にかっちりとした演奏となっており、ライブ盤でこれだけの精度の演奏がされたことは驚きである。特に一番は推進していくリズム感が全楽章を通じて抜群であり聴いていて曲の素晴らしさを感じとれる名演と言える。高関さんはもっと注目されてよい実力ある指揮者だと思う。

高関らしく楽譜や奏法、歴史の研究は万全だがそれ以上に結果としてベートーヴェンの音楽が生き生きと伝わってくるのが素晴らしい。
