    ぼくがなぜこの作品にこんなに共感できたのかというと...

    ぼくがなぜこの作品にこんなに共感できたのかというと僕と光太郎が非常に近いタイプの人間だからだろう。 　本作以前の詩集を読んでいると作者は結構、「やんちゃ」していたことがわかる。それが智恵子さんとあったとたん、愛に目覚めてしまうのだから（個人的にそういう経験があると言うことです）。 　また、本作がすばらしいのは智恵子さんとの愛の生活よりも寧ろ、智恵子さんを失った後の喪失感のほうがより強く伝わってきて、その痛々しさがこの詩集を「愛と夢」だけに終わらせない痛烈な香辛料となっている。そのへんが本作を名作とたらしめていると僕は思う。
