    ビートニク、ヒッピー達のバイブルだったらしい。 それに、ボブディランが自伝の中でこの本に夢中になった時期があったと書いていて、なにかと気になる本だったのです。 最初はね、なんとも読みにくい文章だなｗと思いましたね。 人物が次から次に現れるし、アメリカの地名にいまいちピンとこないし… １００Ｐくらいまでは読むのが苦痛ですらあった。 中盤以降は完全にこの本の病的なまでの熱にやられ、文章のことなんか気にならなくなってきました。 ディーン・モリアーティーと主人公、「いったいこいつら、アメリカ大陸を何往復するつもりだ！」
