ショスタコヴィッチ交響曲第1番はまだ十歳代の作品だけに当然コナレてはいません。曲紹介・・管楽器ソロでスタートする第1楽章はやヽ大人しく変化が乏しいけれど第2楽章の東洋的動機と断末魔的結びは印象的、第3楽章は管とヴァイオリンのソロや全合奏によるレントは後年の第5番等の緩徐章の兆しか、しかし終楽章はやはり散漫で・・。作品に50歳手前のマルティノンはLSOを比較的色彩豊かに冷静に対応しております。バレー組曲「黄金時代」はバレーそのものを知らないのですがどの楽章も交響曲の第2,3楽章にリプリイスしてもおかしくない作品?
