Madlibのジャズ・プロジェクト、Yesterdays New Quintetから派生した新たなユニットYoung Jazz Rebelsが単独名義でフル・アルバムをリリース。Young Jazz Rebelsは、06年のコンピ『Chrome Children』収録の「Nino's Deed」初披露。その後、Yesterdays New Quintetセカンド『Yesterday's Universe』に「Slave Riot」を提供しておりました。今作には、「Nino's Deed」のAlternate Version、エレクトロ・ジャズ・フュージョン「Forces Unseen」、鬼気迫るエクスペリメンタルな「For Brother Sun Ra」、神経質でクールなボッサ調の「Black Freedom」まで、鬼才Madlibの脳内にあるアヴァンギャルドとフリージャズが一気に爆裂した脅威の1枚。
