The Jam

1970年代後半、パンク・ムーヴメント真っ只中にあったイギリス、ロンドンにおいて一際硬派なイメージを持って登場したバンドがザ・ジャムだった。彼らは、当時巷に氾濫するむさ苦しさとこ汚さをもポリシーとしたパンクス達とは一線を規した存在でステージで、スタイルといえば三つボタンの細身のスーツに身を固めリッケンバッカーをかき鳴らす、どこかエリートっぽささえ漂わせていた。
