There are no answers only questions, one of the wonders of the world is surely the uncertainty of what tomorrow holds. In the mind of Tenebrous Liar lyricist Steve Gullick, these questions manifest as some kind of curse, questions assume the form of unforgiving savage ghosts determined to rip out his heart and feed it to the pigs. Next to his accomplices however, Gullick (vocals & guitar) sees himself as the most happy go lucky part of the group, he considers Brendan Casey (bass & vocals), Daniel Glendining (guitar & vocals) and Tom Glendining (drums & vocals) all to be way closer to the edge of annihilation than himself; being the happiest brick in the wall gives him the will to continue and the confidence to share these songs with the world. The fourth Tenebrous Liar album to be produced by acclaimed musician and songwriter Richard Warren (kind of like Nick Lowe to TL's Damned) This new collection of songs finds the group on the quest to create melodic edgy pop songs but without compromising their unique and ear splitting ferocity and lyrical tenacity, the record may even be an attempt to fuse Big Star's 'Sister Lovers' with Earth's 'Earth 2' or The Velvet Underground's 'White Light White Heat' with Elvis Presley's 'King Creole'. Last years 'Run Run Run' album was described by Artrocker as sounding like 'The Sex Pistols stuck in a Swamp' - a better simile we cannot present. Tenebrous Liar have steadily been building a strong live reputation, no doubt aided by prestigious support shows with acts as diverse as Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, Oxbow, Soulsavers featuring Mark Lanegan, Cindytalk, Magic Numbers, Josh T.
