言わずと知れた‘70年代の英国を代表するスーパー・グループ、ジェネシスの黄金時代を支えたギタリスト。1975年の『Voyage of the Acolyte』でのソロ・デヴューそして1978年のジェネシス脱退以降、実に30年近いソロ・キャリアを重ねてきた。その長い歴史の中で数々の紆余曲折や浮き沈みがありながらも常に第一級のクリエイティヴィティを発揮しながら質の高いアルバムを発表し続け今日へと至る。
