Product Description

Digitally remastered edition of the 1973 debut album from one of the most popular British touring Rock bands of the 1970s. Snafu featured ace guitarist Micky Moody, vocalist Bobby Harrison, Pete Solley on keyboards, Colin Gibson (bass) and Terry Popple (drums). This eight track CD includes such original band numbers as 'Said He the Judge' and 'Funky Friend', together with a cover of Gamble & Huff's 'Drowning in the Sea of Love'. Produced by Vic Smith, the album has an original cover painting by Roger Dean and is designed by Martyn Dean with CD liner notes from Chris Welch.

Juicy LucyのLie back and enjoy itと並ぶブリティッシュスワンプロックの傑作。Lie back...と比べてファンキーさを薄めてブルージーにした感じと言ったらいいか。 ドラムから専任のヴォーカルに転向したBobby HarrisonはJames DewarやRonnie James Dioのようなスタイルで、悪くない。 楽曲はバリエーションに富んでいるが散漫な感じはしない。 キーボードにオルガンが多用されており、曲によってはJohn Lord在籍時のWhite Snakeを彷彿をさせたりもする。
