商品説明

The title 'Last of A Dying Breed' says it all. If you've wondered where the traditional country went, or questioned whose gonna wear these shoes? This CD delivers. Traditional, yet original are two words that describe the music of Richard Lynch. The nine original songs that highlight this CD bring out not only great lyrics, but great country vocals. And it also hits with the true traditional sounds of fiddles, steel guitar and other true country instruments missing in what they call today's country music. You will also love Richard's take on the country classic 'Walk On By', proof that a traditional song can breathe new life, without taking away it's roots. The songs, and even the duet 'We Drink A Lot Alike' with producer and writer Jess McEntire shows how easily two friends can mesh even after not working together for twenty years. 'Beyond the Golden Years'...

One of my favorites. 'We will love beyond the Golden Years' will remind you of the everlasting love your parents and grandparents shared! Love to the end and beyond. We can only hope our lives experience love 'Beyond the Golden Years'. 'Boys Making Noise' could be an anthem for all guys who just want to have fun and let off a little steam after a hard day at work, then run home to the woman who makes them happy! 'The more I'm around some people, The More I like My Dog'. Truer words have never been written! 'Too many Horses'...

Too many horses to ride and not enough time. Literally and figuratively. As we get older we realize that we have a lot of things left undone. And three more original tunes aimed to please a traditional country music lover. Much like many of America's cities and rural communities have died, and the come back to life: 'Last of a Dying Breed' does the same thing for country music for 2013. For over 30 years, Richard Lynch has been sharing his love and passion for traditional country music - the kind that once you hear it you can't ever forget it because it gives you goosebumps and makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up. You know those timeless country songs about life, love, heartache and happiness. And drinking, living and dying. That true traditional country music that has a standard as natural and honest as real life. Lynch got the itch for country music as a young farmboy from his father, Woody Lynch, who taught him how to pick a guitar, sing and appreciate a good country music audience at a very young age. That influence is still evident today as he plays and sings the songs that his Daddy taught him years ago. As well as more country and southern rock type favorites from the 80s and 90s, Richard's era. Richard enjoys and performs tunes from the early western swing sound to cowboy songs of yesterday, from rockabilly to hard driving honky-tonk and outlaw country. A true traditionalist, Richard's vocals can be described as burnished baritone with a signature low end that resonates with authentic expression and passion. Woody's influences consisted of 50's legends Hank Williams, Lefty Frizzell, Ernest Tubbs and Carl Smith. Combined with Richard's influences including the 70s and 80s icons of Conway Twitty, Buck Owens, Mel Street, Merle Haggard and later Keith Whitley and George Strait you have the country music heritage that has imprinted itself on Richard Lynch for a lifetime wide and deep. Richard's band's playlist also includes popular 90's icons Garth Brooks, Brooks & Dunn, and Travis Tritt among others. Music to sing along with, get your toes tapping or just get up and boogie or dance a two-step. His father's talents had a lasting impact on Richard, and he put that love of country music to paper when he wrote 'Daddy's Guitar', an original song that tells the story of how he was born and raised to appreciate country music and traditional values of growing up on a farm. Lynch got his first 'paying gig' at the age of 15 and grew from there, playing over 300 nights a year at countless clubs, fairs, festivals and other venues throughout the 1980s and 90s along with private events where he performed alongside national touring acts and
