本作は、1960年代のロックステディの時代から、レゲエの普及した70年代、80年代初頭までの長きに渡り一貫してハイレベルな作品を創り続けた天才フィル・プラットの作品の中でも、最もダイナミックな作品であり、コレクターの間では常に高値で取引されるマニア垂涎の作品である。

リズムセクションにスライ&ロビー、ギターはロン・ブライアン、キーボードとピアノにボビー・カルファットとアンセル・コリンズ、ホーン隊にはトミー・マクックと、ハーマン・マーキスといった名立たるメンバーがフィル・プラットの元に集結し1979〜80年にChannel Oneで録音されたのが本作である。ダブミックスも同スタジオでフィル・プラット自身と、当時Channel Oneのお抱えエンジニアであったバニー・トムトムによって行なわれた。今回のリイシューでは、オリジナル・スリーブを忠実に再現し、CDには5曲のボーナス・トラックが追加されている。
