Elements Series: Etheria

Peter Kater returns with his fifth release in his Elements series for Real Music. And like the previous four, the album is sublime, offering a journey into the natural elements of the earth; in this case, that element is an ethereal fifth element that encompasses the planet and all of it's elements. With ETHEREA, we are welcomed into a warm, heavenly space where quiet melodies flow like a peaceful river. Take Rising Sun, where tender piano joins with subtle choir vocals to create an otherworldly effect. When flute enters the picture and atmospheric synthesizers begin to swell, the track takes off, becoming a journey into a majestic dreamscape. The bittersweet element of the melody adds to the song's beauty. Celestial Light takes a different approach, with a sunny, breezy sound that sounds like the essence of a summer afternoon. Kater manages to keep the sweetly serene throughout the album's running time, providing a serene album that positions itself perfectly within Real Music's impressive catalog of relaxation albums.
