評価：★★★★ 今最高に輝いているピアニスト！Ｄ．ヘイゼルタインやＢ．シャーラップのようにメジャー・レーベルでつまらない演奏をしないように今後を期待しています。アルバム的には僕はPage.Twoが一番好きなのですが、本作も秀逸。特に⑦ジャンゴはあまりみんなが手を出さないような曲に果敢に挑み、そして成功を収めています。ピーター・ビーツの才能に拍手！

いまやピアノの若獅子ともいうべきピーター・ビーツの素晴しいトリオ・アルバム。まず１曲目のショパンのプレリュード、かつてジェリー・マリガンが「ナイトライツ」で吹き、またボサノヴァの顔では「ハウ・インセンシティヴ」でも知られるお馴染みの名旋律に、Ｐ．ビーツが抑制の利いた見事な腕前を見せる。この後に出た「コンセルトヘボウ・ライヴ」の同曲はさらに凄いノリだが、まずは近年の名盤として、このＣＤからどうぞ・・・
