As vital as ever, no band before or since has ever sounded like Pere Ubu - period. The Hearpen Singles were released between 1975 and 1977. Initially remastered and included on vinyl in the 'Elitism for the People 1975-1978' box, and now on CD to coincide with the release of 'Architecture of Language 1979-1982' box set and the Coed Jail tour. This collection of singles includes '30 Seconds Over Tokyo', 'Heart of Darkness' and 'The Modern Dance' amongst others. Untitled - Released on the EP Datapanik In The Year Zero in April 1978, Radar Records RDR1. Engineered at Cleveland Recording Company in June1976. Original 2-track analog mix tapes transferred at 192khz / 24 bit in 2015 at Suma.
