Veteran emcee Mr. P Chill returns with his 8th solo album in ten years with the release of Equilibrium on October 23, 2012. Equilibrium is a balanced journey through the classic styles reminiscent of the golden age of hip hop, bringing feel good jams interlaced with political ballads. Equilibrium has Mr. P Chill's fan base buzzing. The release of the first single, Fat Girl, has been generating play on college and internet radio and is a fan favorite at his tour dates all over the United States earlier this year. Equilibrium features fifteen songs that bring the listener into Mr. P Chill's inner circle of confidence while also compelling the listener to take a broad look at the class struggles facing society. Each track takes the listener on a musical journey through the hypnotic baseline and intense vocal style of Mr. P Chill. Featuring production from familiar names like Mike Colossal and OmegaZ, Mr. P Chill also reached out to newcomer 3rd Child for his fresh, synth-heavy production. Equilibrium also features guest appearances from emcees Ms. Vybe, Lumis and Supanova as well as the harmonies of the talented Kimberlie Whitford. Equilibrium is the follow up to Mr. P Chill's 2011 release, All Seriousness Aside, which UBO Magazine described as nostalgia and love of hip-hop and the veteran status that comes with it all mixed into a fresh, fun album. Singles from All Seriousness Aside have reached the international top 10 on internet radio station Jango.com (#9 week of September 9, 2012).
