Jimi Hendrix

その短いキャリアの中でロック・ミュージックにおけるギタープレイの革命を起こしたジミ・ヘンドリックスは、現在もなお「伝説」として語り継がれている。またジミは、イノヴェイティヴな音楽を遺した業績は勿論のこと、そのどこか音楽の殉教者といえるような悲劇的な佇まいから、ひょっとしたらロック史において最も「天才」という言葉が似合うアーティストと言えるかもしれない。
