タイトル通り、「Deep End」シリーズの第二段。今作のゲストはジェイソン・ニューステッド(EX.Metallica)、レス・クレイプール(primus)、トニー・レビン(King Crimson)、クリス・スクワイア(Yes)、フィル・レッシュ・・・他。ブルーズロックが基本だが、レス・クレイプール参加のファンキーな３，４曲目、クリス・スクワイア参加のプログレ風インスト９曲目などバラエティに富んでいる。収録時間の関係で2枚に分けたとのことで、「Vol.1」と甲乙つけがたい、このシリーズを始めて聴く人は、好きなミュージシャンが参加しているほうから聴くと良いと
