American country rock quartet FOOLS GOLD were originally the backing band for DAN FOGELBERG and made this one album for Arista Records in 1976.Half the album was produced by GLYN JOHNS (Rolling Stones) and the other half by GLENN FREY (The Eagles). Playing on this long lost country rockclassic are JOE WALSH, GLEN FREY, and DON FELDER and has a distinct California/Eagles sound. Guitarist Tom Kelly would go on to enjoy success as asongwriter co writing with Billy Steinberg hits for the likes of Madonna, The Bangeles,The Pretenders and Whitney Houston.

1976年アリスタ・レ－ベル一押し３カントリ－ロック・バンド(Fanky kings 、Silver、Fools Gold)の一つFools Goldの１ｓｔ。(76 Fools Gold Pop#100) 中心メンバ－のトム・ケリ－ / Bass,Vocal ＆デニ－・ヘンソン / Guitar, keybords, Vocalはダン・フォ－ゲルバ－グと同郷であった為、彼のバック・バンドを務めた後にメジャ－・デビュ－。(この時にダグ・リヴィングストン / Pedal Steel Guitar・ロン・グライネル / Drumsの二人が合流しバンド結成) １ｓｔアルバムはダン・フォ－ゲルバ－グ(３曲③”Choices”⑦”Old Tennessee”⑩”愛に生きよう”提供)、イ－グルスのメンバ－(ジョ－・ウォルシュ①”明日を求めて”プロデュ－ス＆ギタ－ / グレン・フライ②”雨に願いを”(76 Pop#76)⑤”遥かなるモントレ－”⑥”I Will Run”プロデュ－ス / ドン・フェルダ－②”雨に願いを”⑥”I Will Run”ギタ－・マンドリン)の協力の下制作され、初期イ－グルス風 + 爽やかなカントリ－・ロックを聞かせてくれる。
