Content Description
血を抜かれ胴体を切断されたうら若き女性の惨殺死体がロサンゼルスで発見された。時は1947年。エリザベス・ショートは女優を志してハリウッドへたどり着いたが、夢は叶わず不運な最期を遂げた。そのあまりに残酷な殺害方法はメディアの注目を浴び、エリザベスは「ブラック・ダリア」と呼ばれて、全米で最も有名な死体となった。これまでに事件を題材にした様々な小説や映画などが作られている。
ロス市警出身で犯罪事件作家のジョセフ・ウォンボーはこの未解決事件に着目。再現映像を交えながら担当捜査官や新聞記者の証言も得て、事件の真相を解き明かすドキュメンタリー。
