In the middle of the twentieth century Benny Goodman aka The King of Swing made numerous recordings for the Armed Forces Radio Service and this compact disc is the fifth issue in our attempt to bring all of his recording for this series into a collectable discographic sequence, all digitally re-mastered directly from the original transcription discs. Featured guests include Peggy Lee and pianist Nadia Reisenberg. This disc features programs nine and ten and is part of the series that no serious collector should miss. Show # 9.
