Soul Blue 7

Soul Blue 7 is the follow up to Al Basile's 2008 release the Tinge, which reached #14 on the Living Blues charts in March of 2008. Again produced by and featuring blues legend Duke Robillard, Soul Blue 7 also has Al's former Roomful of Blues mates Duke, Doug James, Rich Lataiile, Marty Ballou and Carl Querfurth, plus special guests Sugar Ray Norchia and Sax Gordon Beadle. Al's songs draw from the blues, swing, and soul jazz traditions and feature his vocals and cornet solos along with his customary attention to strong lyric writing.
