このＣＤで演奏されている楽器は、もともと割れた音を出す。 そういう個体である。 ペダルの仕様、鍵盤の重さ、弦の張力、すべて学者コウリ氏の研究の結果えらばれた楽器である。その慎重さのうえに、実際に弾きながら湧き出す感興をおさえない演奏者コウリ氏の爆発も面白い。ベートーベンが楽器へ挑みかかっているさまを再現する意図があるかのようである。 繰り返し愛聴するとつかれるＣＤではあるが、たまに取り出して、まじめ一方のブラウティガムの演奏と並立させている。

モダンピアノをフォルテピアノに置き換えただけの良くない演奏。もっともっとアーティキュレーションを駆使して表情を付ける必要があります。強打で楽器が悲鳴を上げています。
