鮮明な画質と音質、優れた演奏内容により幾多の名曲を鑑賞できる当シリーズ。CDと比べて最新盤のリリースが極めて少ないDVDの現状にあっては、購入意欲を大いに刺激させられるものがある。お手頃価格で入手出来る点、海外市場を見据えての日本語字幕付きといったことも評価に値する商品だ。斬新かつ大胆な映像づくりと難解に陥らない解説。これは、初心者または一般の視聴者をもターゲットにしたテレビ番組という制作上の判断なのだろう。
