ブリテン：ピーター・グライムズ全曲<br>ピアーズ、ワトソン、ピーズ、エルムズ<br>作曲者指揮コヴェントガーデン王立歌劇場管弦楽団＆合唱団<br>1958年12月ステレオ録音。20世紀オペラの傑作の名盤がリマスターでさらに感銘深くなりました。このオペラではよくデイヴィス盤が取り沙汰されますが、ここでの演奏では何と言ってもピアーズの叙情的な歌唱が光ります。ヴィッカースとは対照的なスタイルの名唱です。
