Tchaikovsky Edition, Composer Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Artist Various performers, such as: London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, Chorus and Orchestra of the Bolshoi Theatre, Moscow Radio Chorus, Moscow Trio, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Yuri Simonov, Sir Neville Marriner conductors, A comprehensive survey of Tchaikovsky's output, spanning 55CDs and containing detailed booklet notes. The set contains recordings from great interpreters, including the London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra and Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra. The Orchestral Suites are performed by Radio-Sinfonieorchester Stuttgart, lead by Sir Neville Marriner. Michael Ponti plays the Taneyev reconstruction of the third Piano Concerto and the Piano Works, except the Piano Trio, which is performed by The Moscow Trio. Gennady Rozhdestvensky conducts Symphonies 4-6, The Oprichnik and Cherevichki, and Ilya Grubert and Aaron Rosand can be heard in the Violin Concerto. Most of the Operas are presented in historical Russian recordings that include the Bolshoi and some of the greatest Russian voices of the 20th century. The only near complete Edition of Tchaikovsky available. A high voltage set capturing the inner passion of the Russian soul, from the light-footed ballets to the tormented Pathetique, from a delicate song to the explosions of Overture 1812.
