The 7 symphonies plus 'Kullervo', tone poems, concertos, stage music and songs are all here and are performed by some of the most prominent Sibelius interpreters including conductors Leonard Bernstein & Herbert von Karajan and violinist Anne- Sophie Mutter. The music of Sibelius does not lend itself to comparison or classification. It is like a meteorite that fell from the sky - Karajan.
