09年6月に8thオリジナルアルバム『魂のゆくえ』を発売後、松任谷由実とのコラボレーションソング『シャツを洗えば』を大ヒットさせたくるり。
早くも次作のリリースが決定！
今回発売となるのは、これまでリリースしてきた22枚のシングルのカップリング曲を全曲収録した“B面ベスト”『僕の住んでいた街』。
その収録曲のほとんどがアルバム未収録＆未配信であり（カップリング曲全31曲中、26曲がアルバム未収録)、その中にはLiveでの定番曲も多数含まれています！
センチメンタルに風景が滲むバラッドからヒリヒリのロックチューンまで、オリジナルアルバムを凌ぐかのようなクオリティは圧巻の一言。
曲順も発表年代順にコンパイルし、彼らの変遷からサウンドプロダクションの先進性も垣間見れる今作は、まさにファン必聴の1枚と言えるでしょう。
そして、約1年ぶりとなる待望の新曲「東京レレレのレ」も収録！
初回限定盤は全34曲入りの2枚組。
限定盤のみのボーナストラックとして、6th Sg『ワンダーフォーゲル』の初回限定盤に収録されていた「ノッチ5555」及び、iTunes Storeで期間限定配信された「Bacon＆Egg」の2曲も特別収録。
