今まで２０年前のＣＤ４枚組・ＢＯＸ「ストーリーテラー」を愛聴してましたが、来日記念という事で、価格安のＥＵ盤に買い換えました。「ピープル・ゲット・レディ」「ロスト・イン・ユー」は入れて欲しかったが・・・細かい事を言うとキリが無いので。未発表曲Ｄ−１７も中近東風メロディが落ち着きがあり、新鮮でＧｏｏｄ！

武道館でのRod。煌びやかな「ﾙﾋﾞｰ･ｽﾁｭｱｰﾄ」やﾊﾞｯｸﾊﾞﾝﾄﾞのｴﾈﾙｷﾞｯｼｭな躍動感に支えられて熱演してはいたものの、円熟したﾎﾞｰｶﾘｽﾄとしての「いぶし銀の匠の技」があまり感じられなかった。Rodに対して、Disc 2のM3に登場した精力絶倫のﾌﾟﾚｲ･ﾎﾞｰｲのｲﾒｰｼﾞを強く持つ（見識の狭い）者にとって、30分以上の連続アクトが困難となってしまった姿は少し寂しい気持ちがした…。翻って本作は、これまでのﾍﾞｽﾄ盤のﾍﾞｽﾄ！決して老いることのないRodの、光り輝くｷｬﾘｱについて、天才ﾎﾞｰｶﾘｽﾄと呼ばれる所以について、その偉大さについて…手に取るように確認できる！

行ってきました！３．１２武道館追加公演。客の入りは６割程度だったが、１３年前と違い２時間の素晴らしいライヴでした。２１歳の実娘に２曲歌わせるのはチョット頂けないが、聴きたかった曲のほとんどが聴けて大満足！欲を言えば’８０〜’８３の曲も歌って欲しかった。私の最も好きな英国ソロ・アーティスト・・それがＲＯＤ！世界一歌の上手い奴！日本でも欧米並みの人気になります様に。
