    往年のハリウッド俳優「眠たそうな瞳」のロバート・ミッチャムが1957年に残した貴重なレコーディングです。 チープなカリプソ・アルバムですが、これはもう異国趣味というか、マーティン・デニーやレス・バクスターのようなムード音楽〜イージーリスニング〜ラウンジ・ミュージックのように聴くべきアルバムですね。 しかしながら、名俳優がその渋い演技とは裏腹にユーモアたっぷりに時に滑稽に歌う様は、妙な味わいが滲み出てきます。 ジャケットも渋さとチープさと滑稽さがブレンドされていてグッドです。
