    80年代初期のポスト･パンク期のガールズ･バンドという...

    80年代初期のポスト･パンク期のガールズ･バンドというと、SLITSやRAINCOATSを思い浮かべるが、このスイスのバンドLiLiPUTも外せない存在だ。最初はKLEENEXと名乗ってたらしいが、この時期はそれほど個性はなく普通のパンクっぽい。その後メンバーチェンジしてLiLiPUTとなるが、この2枚組CDの聴き所は2枚目に収められているオリジナル･アルバム「LILIPUT」と「SOME SONGS」だ。音楽性は、SLITSやRAINCOATSに比べると、もっとシュールでプリミティブな感じだ。なかなかいい味出していると思う。
