    1968年録音。テナーサックスのGato Barbieriとピアノ（1曲ではチェロも演奏）のAbdullah Ibrahim（Dollar Brand）によるデュオアルバム。A面はIbrahim作曲の2曲、B面はBarbieri作曲の2曲（メドレーとして1曲）。なお、タイトル曲のHamba KhaleはIbrahim初期の名作「African Sketchbook」の2曲目と最後を飾る“SALAAM-PEACE-HAMBA KAHLE”である。ぶっきらぼうにメロディーを吹くBarbieriがとてつもなく格好いい。
