    マルコポーロのフィルム・クラシックシリーズの１枚。 ハリウッドで活躍したアルフレッド・ニューマンのスコアから『イヴの総て』『ボージェスト』『ノートルダムのせむし男』を収録したアルバム。 演奏はウィリアム・ストロンバーグ指揮、モスクワ交響楽団。 復元はジョン・モーガンとストロンバーグです。 作品は音だけで聴くと他のニューマンの作品の中では印象に残りにくいかなといったところで、演奏もラフなところがあり、とりあえず作品を知るには水準に達したかなっと言ったところ。 ただ、マルコポーロ盤はライナーが詳しく、そこが1番のセールスポイントです。 1996年モスフィルム・スタジオでの録音で音質良好。
