ＳＡＣＤで数ヶ月前にオーダーを入れているのに入手困難のままなので通常盤で聴きました。もともとラテン系のギターが大好きでこの人も久しぶりです。エレガントＪ．の時にはジャケ写真をみて頭髪やばそうだと思ったのですが、儲けた金でいいドクターに処置させたのかいい感じの現状です。ちょっと話筋がそれていますがＣ.サンタナと違ってこの人はきちんと整えてそこで唸りアドリブかますギターサウンドなんだけど、ここではずいぶんと大人しくなってしまったなと思います。サンタナはバックはほぼカオス状態でそこに微妙に上手いエレキギターをかぶせてくるのが、妙にエロチックで、またバックのパーカッションがはやいキザミなので曲もギターもダルく感じにくく絶妙だったのですが、この人はピンでも本当に早弾きでした。収録＃８、＃１１、＃１３あたりに昔の片鱗有りますが上手いけどヒマなアルバムです。やれやれ...。もっと頑張ってください。Ｊ.ベックなんかすごいけどなあ..。

心安らぐ癒しの一枚。ノスタルジック、メルヘンチック～なんて陳腐な言葉でしか表現できないけど、冬の長い夜にピッタリ。深夜の長距離ドライブのＢＧＭにいつも聴いています。
