１９２０年代パリの「屋根の上の牛」という伝説的キャバレーの世界観をモチーフにした、鬼才ピアニスト、アレクサンドル・タローの最新作。そこは、コクトーやサティやフランス六人組、ココ・シャネルやマン・レイといった当時の最先端の芸術家たちが夜な夜な集うサロンのような場所で、現在でも観光客が訪れるような所。タローは、「この場所がなかったら、パリの音楽は変わっていたかもしれない」とコメント。今回は今までと一味違うアルバムとなっていて、クラシック界からは、フランク・ブラレイ、歌姫ナタリー・デセイなどの他、クラシック以外のジャンルからも多才なゲストを迎えての録音。タロー・ワールドを満喫できるコンセプチュアル・アルバムです。
