I got tickets to attend the Tokyo Dome live last year, but had to call off my trip to Japan for the safety of my wife who was pregnant at that time. Sugizo mentioned during the MC towards the end of the concert that the next time they return to Tokyo Dome, maybe one of them will no longer be with them anymore. Turns out what he said was true. The band probably knows more than what we know. But at the point of this concert, nothing was made known of Shinya’s condition. LUNA SEA never fail to put up a good show at the Tokyo Dome. From Lunatic Tokyo 1995 (their first Tokyo Dome show) to Final Act, One Night Dejavu (2007), Reboot (2010) to Lunatic Tokyo 2025. But with the context of Shinya’s health, the boys performed like it was the last show of their lives. It was also Shinya’s final drum solo of his live and final solo with J. *Spoilers* J gave and Shinya exchanged at high-5 after they completed their solo segment. It was a heartwarming exchange between the two friends we see on video, probably, for the first time. I learnt about LUNA SEA when I was in my early to mid teens. Like many other SLAVEs of my age, I For You drew me into the world of LUNA SEA. I fell deeper and deeper for LUNA SEA. There is something unique about LUNA SEA’s music. Even if you don’t speak or understand a single Japanese word, their music is so picturesque that you can understand the stories and emotions they are trying to convey with their music. And that to me was the beauty of LUNA SEA and their music. I was lucky to have caught them live when they visited Singapore in 2013 for The End of The Dream Asia Tour. I met Sugizo again in 2007 when Inoran and him visited Singapore for their Best Bout Asia tour. Missing this Tokyo Dome show is one of the biggest regrets of my life. But I am glad that the show is filmed for Bluray and DVD. I can relive this show forever and share LUNA SEA’s story with my kid. Thank you LUNA SEA for coming into my life. LUNA SEA IS FOREVER AND EVER!0 people agree with this review
