    熟練の名奏者による演奏で渋く光る舟歌集を楽しむことができる。ピアノの音の深みや高音の輝きも聞くことができ、実に味わい深い。ドリー組曲も良く練らた演奏であり、単なるきれいな演奏ではなく、曲本来の美しさをしっとりとうまく弾き出している。

    試しに最後の夜想曲13番を聴いてみてほしい。どれほど西岡さんが作品に共感を寄せて全身全霊を込めて弾ききっていることか。鳴り終わった後もしばらく心の震えが止まらなかった。

    これほどまでにドラマチックに演奏されたこの曲をあまり知らない。雄弁な表現の中にも丁寧な音使いが垣間見られ、とても感興深く聞くことができ、満足感を得られた。プーランクの作品はさらに雄大な表現で、残響が非常に効果的である。
