初主演映画『ハード・デイズ・ナイト 』の...

初主演映画『ハード・デイズ・ナイト 』のサントラ盤で 旧邦題は「ビートルズがやって来るヤァ!ヤァ!ヤァ!」 。 映画は、有楽町スバル座で「ヘルプ」「レットイットビー」とカップリング三本を立見で見たなぁ。まだまだ社会インフラ的に貧しい昭和の日本のおはなし。 映画でも印象的なオープニング「ハード・デイズ・ナイト 」から電車の中でジョンのハーモニカがかわいい「恋する二人 」、ジョージの歌もステキな「すてきなダンス 」など気軽な名曲。 「アンド・アイ・ラヴ・ハー 」はこのアルバムに入ってまして、ジャンル問わず多くのミュージシャンがカバーしてます。

映画のサントラ的意味合いがあるが個人的にはB面の曲の方に強い思い入れがある。特に⑩を除いた全曲。全曲ジョンのオリジナルだが、彼のロック魂全開。最高！

The BeatlesのA Hard Day’s Nightは1964年発表の通算3枚目のアルバム。1曲目のA　Hard Day’s Nightから始まり、最後のI’ll Be Backまで全曲でLenon/McCartneyの作曲が聞ける。特におススメなのはCan’t Buy Me Love。 ジョンレノン、絶好調です。
