個人的にESTの新作が聴けなくなり、失望していた時にこのアルバムに出会いました。ピアノが時に優しく、いい意味でこじれてくる所が素敵でした。

これも、メルドーの中の一つの仕草です。ピュアなジャズファンは顔をしかめるかもしれませんが、どんな音楽もいろいろなアプローチで聴かせてくれる、一つの芸人的な一面を覗かせます。選曲然り、アレンジ然り。ジャズのイメージにあまりとらわれずに、このプレイの中に、音楽を感じ取っていただけたら幸いです。
