卓越したテクニックと多彩な表現力で人気実力ともに最高峰のテナーサックスプレイヤー、マイケル・ブレッカー（Michael Brecker 1949年3月29日〜2007年1月13日) はアメリカ合衆国ペンシルベニア州フィラデルフィア生まれ。アルバムは1996年の録音、マッコイとの「インフィニティ」が95年なのでその翌年のリーダー作となる。共演者はピアノがジョーイ・カルデラッツォとマッコイ・タイナー、ギターがパット・メセニー、ベースがデイブ・ホランド、ドラムがジャック・ディジョネット、パーカッションがドン・アライアス。マッコイとアライアスは「Song For Bilbao」「African Skies」の2曲のみの参加となる。
