カッコイイ！好評を博しているBBCセッションズ・シリーズにキンクス盤がお目見え。当時のラジオ局のテープ管理は結構テキトーだったらしく、保存状態のよいテープがCD2枚組、全33曲というヴォリュームで発掘されただけでも僥倖といえるのだとか。最近ではパイ後期のヨレたキンクスが若者には人気だが、ディスク1前半の初期ビート系楽曲のかっこよさを聴いたら認識がかわる人も出てくるかもしれない（バックをメンバー以外の人が務めている場合もあるらしいが...）。リアルなバンドの姿が刻印されたファン必聴盤！

試聴だと分からないかもしれませんが、曲の前後にちょくちょくオジサン（ＤＪかな？）の曲紹介が入ります。 私としては、それがとても残念。 まぁ、そういうモノなのかもしれませんが・・・。 １番好きな曲、village green preservation society には曲紹介が付いてないのが、せめてもの救いです。
